The General Director of Health Technology Development Office of the Iran Ministry of Health, stating that 110 knowledge-based companies have export products in the field of health, Said: "Some banks tend to invest in knowledge-based projects."
Dr Hossein Vatanpour stated in the fundraising event in the field of digital health, which was held at the Innovation and Prosperity Fund: "In health, we started by holding events such as the idea markets, and such events continue to take place for many technologies to come to fruition." Emphasizing that serious changes have begun in universities, he said: "We now have fewer students or faculty members who do not have to worry about solving the country's problems, and we see that each of them has entered into a subject of technology."
Vatanpour, referring to the activity of one of the knowledge-based companies, said: "The production of corona test kits by knowledge-based companies has been one of the most important activities in the corona situation, and they have been able to meet part of the country's needs in the field of corona recognition."
"It is difficult for companies to finance themselves in such a situation," he said. "These companies must always have investors to bring their product to the commercialization stage."
Vatanpour added: "We used to form commercialization committees and associations to solve the problems of knowledge-based companies, but now we see the Fund for Innovation and Prosperity taking action in this regard for knowledge-based companies."
The General Director of Health Technology Development Office of the Iran Ministry of Health emphasized: "Therefore, it is important that all support for knowledge-based companies is from all stakeholders to witness the growth of these companies." Vatanpour said that looking up to down at technology breaks it down. The Innovation and Prosperity Fund has recently changed its mind and is providing facilities to support knowledge-based companies.
He said that currently, 110 knowledge-based companies are operating in the field of health, which has reached the export stage. He said: "Some of these knowledge-based companies only export their products and do not want to sell them in the country; This shows that some companies have made progress and the only attraction of their work is the export of their products." He emphasizing that the field of health is one of the sectors that should be given special attention, said: "Digital health is a subset of the health sector that needs investors; We have recently received offers from banks to invest in this area, which should be evaluated to invest in these companies."
